Robert Lee Fisher, was born in Boone on January 28, 1929, the son of Harold and Alice (Dunning) Fisher. He graduated from Boone High School in 1946, and then attended Kemper Military Academy and Northwestern University graduating with his Bachelor’s Degree.
Son Gene left as a sophomore for Kemper Military School in Booneville, Missouri, graduating from high school in 1971 and junior college in 1973, earning awards for marksmanship.
Mr. Windsor was born in Booneville, MO on February 27, 1927 to John and Caroline Windsor. He attended public schools in Booneville and was graduated from Kemper Military School there.
David was a graduate of Kemper Military Academy and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1957 to 1960. He was Past Commander of the Decatur Power Squadron, Past President of the Decatur Noon Lions Club, where he received the Melvin Jones Fellow award, Lifelong member of TKE Fraternity where he was business manager of the Decatur TKE house for 57 years, and also received the TKE President’s Award.
Benge was born at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, Texas to Benge and Irene Elliott on September 21st, 1947. He went to school at San Marcos High School where he was a trainer for the State Finalist Football team. He married Beverley Elliott on August 9th, 1967 in San Marcos, TX.
After High School, Benge attended Kemper Military School in the first stop of many on his way back to San Marcos.
He grew up hoping to play for Florida State just like his hero, Derrick Brooks. But he didn’t qualify academically and went halfway across the country to Kemper Military School in Boonville, Missouri, to raise his grades.
Gary Edward Brimer, 67, of Boonville passed away at his home Friday, November 20, 2020, after a battle with liver cancer.
Visitation for Gary will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. with Father Bill Peckman officiating. Burial will follow in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
Gary Edward Brimer was born February 6, 1953, the son of Virgil Edward Brimer and Arta (Blunt) Brimer. He graduated from Kemper Military High School in 1971 and Junior College in 1973.
Gunter, Texas — Steven Ray Christian, 72, was born May 18, 1948, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and passed away at his home, in Gunter, Texas, on Monday, November 16, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray E. and Betty Jean (Colclasure) Christian.
Steve graduated from Kemper Military School in Booneville, Missouri in 1966. He excelled at football and wrestling during high school and received the Col. H. C. Johnson Award for being the school’s most distinguished athlete in 1966. After graduation, he returned to Oklahoma to attend Oklahoma State University, where he pursued a business degree and became a lifelong supporter of OSU.
