Ron was born on September 27, 1932 in Green Castle to Ezra and Phyllis (Fleshman) Morlan. He attended Green Castle Elementary school before transferring to Kemper Military School in Boonville, Missouri. In 1955, he graduated from Northeast Missouri State Teachers College (now Truman State University) in Kirksville, Missouri with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Management. After graduation, he fulfilled his commitment to the United States Army by serving in South Korea.

He was born in Fayette, MO on Oct. 12, 1934 and spent his formative years in Fayette and in Alexandria, VA. He attended Kemper Military School in Boonville, attended Boys State and graduated from Fayette High School.

Weslaco, TX – Albert Lee Green, age 93, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2021. On February 25, 1928, he was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and given the name Albert Donald Thomas. At age five, he was adopted by Lee Morrow Green and Carolyn Hancock Green and given the name Albert Lee Green. Lee grew up as an only child in San Juan, Texas, attended PSJA High School, and graduated from Kemper Military School in 1947. He graduated from Texas A&I College in Kingsville in 1951 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, served in the U.S. Air Force 1951-1955 as a non-commissioned officer (Staff Sergeant) during the Korean War, and followed in his father’s footsteps into the banking business.

Reed was born and raised in Fort Worth, two hours north of Killeen-Fort Hood, and graduated from MacArthur High School in Irving in 1990. He spent the next two years in the Early Commissioning Program at Kemper Military College in Missouri, then headed to Texas A&M University as a second lieutenant in branch field artillery. Following his retirement, Richard worked at the Kemper Military School in Boonville, MO where he was the school medic and Assistant Commandant. He also worked as a policeman in Boonville before returning to Shawano in 1988. Richard was an avid hunter, fisherman, painter, and musician. He also loved riding his Harley. He was a member of the Fox Valley Muzzle Loaders where he enjoyed going on many rendezvous with his fellow buck skinners.

Missouri Military Academy cadets joined Kemper Military School and College alumni at the opening of the Kemper Museum at 323 Main Street in Boonville on Oct. 1. Thirty-three high school cadets from the 187-strong MMA Corps of Cadets — representing the MMA Fusileers Drill Team, Color Guard, Academy Band, and bagpipers — assisted in the opening dedication ceremony.
