Mr. Key attended Kemper Military School, North Texas State University and joined the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He served in Vietnam from March 1967 to March 1968 and later in Germany until October 1969. He remained in the Army Reserves while attending Law School and went back to Active Duty in JAG corps as a Captain, and later was promoted to Lt. Colonel. He Served in JAG corps in Germany, Washington DC, Fort Drum, Fort Devens, and retired to Pepperell MA in August 1993 after 28 years of Military service.
Jay graduated from Kemper Military School. At the age of 19, he and three of his closest friends joined the army. He served his country honorably for 12 years, which included multiple tours of duty in Vietnam. His titles consisted of Paratrooper, Jump Master, Staff Sergeant, Medic, Special Forces Green Beret, and Reservist.
He attended Kemper Military School where he honed his discipline and leadership skills. Following that, Jim pursued higher education at the prestigious US Naval Academy. Finally, he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Cadet Fred F. Andriano of Fredericktown and a student at Kemper Military School, was recently promoted to the rank of Cadet First Sergeant by Major Russell M. Comrie, professor of military science and tactics at Kemper.
Perry resident starting in 1986. I attended Perry Junior High School and Perry High School before transferring to Kemper Military School. Shortly after high school, I joined the Navy (B.U.D.s Class 211, LE45 school). I opened my first business in 2006 and have been self-employed since. I’ve had businesses in Perry since 2017. I have served as Second Ward Councilman in Perry since April 2022.
The weekend of events began Friday, Sept. 29 with the annual MMA Alumni Association golf tournament at Arthur Hills Golf Course. Kemper Military School and College, and Wentworth Military Academy alumni, joined MMA alumni for the tri-military shootout at Prairie Grove Shotgun Sports in Columbia.
David attended Roosevelt Jr. High, where his mother had attended. He played trumpet under the direction of Mr. Festus Paul. He also attended MacArthur High School, Mt. Zion High School and graduated from Kemper Military School and College in Boonville, MO completing Army Reserve Officers Training Corps. He served in the U.S. Army.
Bryant attended Kemper Military School, University of Alabama, Air Force Academy, Squadron Officers School, Air Command and Staff College, National War College, and Auburn University.
Charlie coached and eventually became the Athletic Director at Kemper Military School and College. He then became the principal of Blackwater Elementary, then moved to principal at Glasgow Elementary from 1977-1996 where he retired from education and went to work alongside his wife Barbara. He partook in many community events and activities throughout the years from coaching, refereeing, being with family and friends. If you knew anything about Charlie he loved his family and loved his Kansas Jayhawks.
